Newcomer

Hi Everyone! My name is Kristina and I am new to EP. I have never joined a support group, nevermind an online support group. I must admit I am a little embarrassed to be joining such a site, but I don't know what else to do or where else to turn. I am a 31 y/o intelligent woman, but I can't seem to get a leg up (no pun intended). I am trying my absolute best to be indepent, but it has proven difficult. Furthermore, my situation situation is worsened by not having a car or a job. I have applied for jobs, but to no avail. Its an endless cycle...I can't get a car without a job and can't get a job without a car. I have asked VR for help, but no luck there either.

I am not looking for a handout, I'm looking for a hand up.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
