Moving On Is Hard To Do

Life goes on. Finding something to laugh about keeps me afloat most days.Speaking of laughter, I watched (and giggled through) Conan O'brien's commencement address to Dartmouth Class of 2011 as I prepare for my last undergraduate final. Struggling with depression is a task but, I'm glad I'm not as alone as I feel sometimes. As I get ready to close this chapter of my journey, I think about the people who I always thought I'd share this moment with; one particular friend comes to mind. It's really hard to lose someone you love and go on without them. I know they would be proud of me just like I know depression is a transient experience, an ebb and flow. The lucid happy moments are really something worth smiling about and life goes on.
