The Loneliness In Me...

My loneliness is sometimes so arresting,

at times my solitude becomes so detesting,

I have felt love burn so that I must tell,

a testimony of love's fiery flames burning, searing,

my very soul to the lower depths of hell, consuming,

but that love is now fading,

for years i've remained down here brooding, just looming,

dwelling in this fiery grave prepared for me,

by the love of my affections,

yet the woman I love has saught to extinguish,

a love I've held so dear,

as such that I had feared I never could relinquish,

alas that love is yet fading,

fading into oblivion within,

the prison of my minds eye,

still her memory invades,

the very core of my withering soul

That is a beautiful but tragic poem. I am sorry. I hope you end up okay and happy and meet someone wonderful if it does not work out with her

I understand - broken hearts are so devestating and feel like they will never heal. It is a total bummer!
