I Am Depressed

I feel like crying

And I don’t know why

I feel depressed

So let me cry

But it wont come out

I wonder why?

My happy face

Hides the pain

My bright words

Hides the brokenness

If you ask me what’s wrong

I will say “nothing, really”

But I am lying

I feel great pain

It lies deep in my heart

And I don’t know why

I really, truly want to cry

    Wonderful, I love it and the truth that it tells for most. Crying helps and people cannot expect you to be strong every moment of the day.

    Thank you for your poem it made me feel a little less alone but in the truth i am alone i block others out and lie all the time just so they think im fine when really i feel like im dying from the inside

      I feel so alone sometimes as well. With me I eventually overcome it because I am a born optimist. its a curse sometimes :/
      The thing is I think you won't always feel so alone and depressed. I also hide my emotions from others, its so very easy for me, because i can make myself believe it to :/
      You just have to find the thing or someone or something that can make you happy. Its hard, it takes time, the first step is figuring out what kind of help you need and if you r willing to get that help :/. I do understand how depression feels as i am clinaccly diagnosed with it. But I take steps to help my self and if you try I'm sure you can be happy....Idk if anything i said helped but know that if you ever need to talk just message me. I'm gona be here always to help if you need it or if you just need to vent it off I will listen :)

    This poem is exactly how i feel! I am not good with words but that is perfect. I know its not really a nice topic but i just wanted to say that i love your poem. its really captured how i feel a lot of the time.

      Thank you for the compliments ^^ This is how i feel alot of the time as well. I'm glad it helped you express your feeling. I'm not good at expressing my emotions either. I can only really do it through my poetry which is not always good but its always pretty accurate for me lol
