i am also on a wheelchair and i was diagnosed as trainverse myletis and one of my friend is also diagnosed as CP but for me, i dont think its hard to understand what my friend is talking about though its hard for everyone to understand her but not for me. i think its not hard to understand people with CP if we didnt think that the disability that matter the most.

Hello Lidwina, thank you for your comment. You are so right that if people did not focus on whether we are disabled or not it would be so much easier for people to talk with us. My CP doesn't affect my speech too much but I have friends who do have a problem being understood by other people and it is very frustrating for them.

Wow! I admire you openess and honesty about your CP. I am not disabled but, we adopted several children who are. One is placed under the umbrella of CP because his disabiltity is so rare. Admiration is not what you are seeking, I am sure, however, I do so admire you. I can only imagine the difficulties you deal with daily as I know how it is with our children. I often get frustrated and down due to people who do not understand. I am so glad you even attempt to walk when you are able. It isn't important how different your walk is but, that you even chose to do it. You go girl!
