Depresive Realism

I don't consider myself depressed, but it's interesting that sad people have a more realistic version of reality then optimistic people...(as according to latest New Scientist) psychologists call it 'depressive realism'

I keep myself out of depression somehow, but I am disillusioned about many of my dreams or goals r hopes that I have not yet achieved...I still hold hope (illusion) for many of them.

`i still hold illusion for many of them` is great...
I bookmarked New Scientist, but haven't checked it out yet.

That's weird. My thinking is completely distorted when I suffer depression.
