This Bud's For You

When your wife is crying,

When she feels like dying

This is what you have to do

Have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

When sex becomes a chore

Just don’t have it anymore

There’s something else you’d rather do

Have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

When you run your family out of the house

Because you’re acting like a drunken louse

It’s not your fault, you know it’s true

Have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

After all, it’s not the beer

That makes your family live in fear.

Every can makes a smarter you.

Have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

When you’re all stressed from work

It’s not your fault you’re such a jerk

What is a man supposed to do?

Have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

And as I’m walking out the door

Not gonna take it anymore

You can keep what you are due

You can have a beer! This Bud’s for you.

We definatly have a lot in common with what we are going through, Rock... You have been there for me and I know you will continue to be. Thanks for being such a great friend. Hugs.

I am always amazed by the number of people going through something so has helped me heal so much. The biggest thanks ever to EP and my wonderful friends here.
Especially my Rock Candy :)

Thanks gonewiththewind. Yes, It does help. Especially with all the dynamics that go with it that you don't even realize are related until you get with people who have been through the same thing and then it is truly and "ah ha" moment...

Hugs to you Hon, my life is getting better by the minute...

This is not an easy path. It is nice to see that others are sharing the hurt and getting it out.

Good luck HBY. It is so nice when all of the Bud is gone. Your life will get better everything will get better.

Happy silly drunks are def. welcome... as long as they wear sunglasses, of course :)

How about happy silly drunks :)

Now that is a thought! A pool party on a bright sunny day! And I don't care if there is beer, although personally I think it is nasty and prefer foo foo drinks when I partake... No mean and nasty drunks allowed though, and that is a firm rule!

Better get those shades ordered huh? Umm... Polarized ones. Got it. :)

thanks dan...... HBY why a truckload are you doing a pool party LOL... No Beer allowed....

And you on yours, Redman... Hugs.

Maybe we should just buy a truckload of sunglasses :)

Good luck to all on your future....

Thanks Dan. I know you have had your share of dealing with this kind of thing yourself...

Hope you didn't forget your sunglasses :)

Yes it is Bass.

I am anxiously waiting for that sunny day! Patience and Persistance will get me there.

Sunscreen and shades ready and waiting!

I have found in recent times that the comparative to my crappy past only serves to make me ever more appreciate my current life and the wonderful lady I get to share it with. Put your sunglasses on babe cause it's going to shine :)

I hear what you are saying ElLagarto... and it is the bottle that let's them out? Regardless, I am over dealing with it, and I am moving toward a better place. Hugs.

I hear you, and I'm sorry, but the point is - bottling up feelings never works - they always find a way to come out - when they do it's usually in a hurtful way - as they did in your case.

Thanks Loop. I will def. check it out when I have a sec... about to head out with my daughter...

ElLagarto. All I can think of when i read that is I wish he had bottled up his feelings instead of letting all that nastiness out on me...

Feeling No Pain

Bottled up feelings
Sorrow
Buried like treasure
Fury
Compressed
Like oxygen
Pain
Kept under lock and key
With 24 hour
Security
Bottled up feelings
Bottles of booze
I copied something into a story in I am trapped. It helped me figure out stuff.

I also have a blog called difficult people that you might understand.
For me it wasn't the booze, but something else, but the end result was the same.

You know more of my story than most, FG, in fact you have been through alot of it with me these past few months...

Thanks for always being there for me Hon, I love you too.

Very nice and knowing your story this is so true. Very well written... thanks for sharing. I love you girl.

Hugs, Lady. Sorry you have had to live with this too...

It is NEVER their fault or the fault of the drinking, nothing is. In fact, it is all YOUR fault, isn't it?

I heard so many times "I lost my temper because you did this or that or didn't do this or that and it made me mad".

I read countless books and had countless talks with him before I threw in the towel. Mine, like yours, is totally responsible for his own actions, no one else, and don't let them ever convince you otherwise girl.

WHATEVER. One of my favorite words in dealing with him. Usually punctuated..... WHAT THE **** EVER!!!! LOL

Thanks Redman... I know I am doing the right thing for myself. Finally. Hugs 2U2 :)

I like it. It does tell the truth. And you are doing the right thing....
