Don't Wait For Hep C to Take You

Hi

My husband passed away April 13/08 from cirrhosis from Hep C. I just want you all to make sure you get regular check-ups the screen for varicies. He had an esophocal hemmorage. They binded him the first time 4 days before his death. I think he waited to long and the varicies got so big that they just couldnt be controlled. Please make sure your doctor screens for these varicies

what are varices? I just got diagnosed with cirrhosis from hep c last week. so sorry for your loss.

I alos have Hep C and type 2 strain. I am a non-responder last month after 6 months of tx which looked promising as it was undetected at one point. It is also cirrotic and the makings of encephalopathy. Does anyone know how long is usual before decomp????

S__T! I cant belive they let your husband dye for useing an organic legal alternitive, Pain pills cause all kinds of side effects and addictions are concidered ok PLEASE! This soceity is so wrong. It allways amazes me that cruel judgments are made buy the same people who are suppose to be saving your life. Isnt there some kind of oath taken buy doctors? My condolences on the loss of your husband Scott. It must be so hard for you going through the loss and the depressing side effects of hep c treatment. I barely made it through the treatment and I know If it was not for the medical marijuana I wouldnt of made it at all! We are all still fighting for freedom in our own country. Let our people FREE!!! Its leagal and still the uneducated crule doctors sentence you to death because of a natural choice, a much more healthy alternitive to modern man made potions of poison. There is absolutely no logical reason to deny any one for medical marijuana, Its so obsurd it ****** me off. Doctors are suppose to be smart and kind. I don't understand why the government has the right to tell us what we can and cannot ingest. This country is supposed to be the land of the free, right?
Much love!

my husband scott died jan 07.he was removed from the liver transplant list for smoking pot,for the bad bad side effects.we created two beautiful sons.his everlasting gift to me.i am currently doing treatment for hep c.this is a very intense healing time for me.

I am so sorry and feel the frustration that you must be feeling. After doing research on hep.c., it is a known that many facilities do not treat the disease properly. Constant scanning is a must. I have lost a loved one to this disease and can't let go of my anger for lack of scanning.

You have to live your life as is i have the bloody filthy thing though tattos, i will still have a odd beer, mind power is greater than you thing, im the same as everone else, Hep C is just one step away, I have lived a death sentance for the past 7 years, WHY> wish i never knew
i could have had 7 years of no death
