This Is So Stressful!

So today I did really well. Ate probably less than 400 calories, but the problem is, I have NO patience with my kids at the end of the day because how exhausted I am and how hungry I am. I went crazy after my kids and husband told me that they didn't like my food that i spent almost 2 hours making. SCREW IT! I grabbed my car keys and left the house. ALL THAT FOOD THAT THEY CAN EAT AND THEY DONT WANT IT, AND HERE I AM STARVING MYSELF to lose like 5 more pounds. UGH...I'm 5'4" and 170lbs (trying to lose the extra weight put on by the baby)...he's only 3 mos old. Its killing me though. NO sleep at night and no food in the day is a recipe for disaster. Anyone sharing my pain?

Starving yourself to make weight come off isn't going to work, and its obviously making your life rougher than it needs to be. This worked for me, invest in slim fast. The weight falls off. I lost over 20 pounds in 2 months.

I have to agree with the first poster, you seem to be misunderstanding how your body works...
Your metabolism will adjust to accommodate your new diet. When you have lost the desired weight and resume eating more regularly, you will very swiftly gain back the weight you have lost, while probably damaging your digestive track as well.
Please consider a more healthy dietary alternative before you hurt yourself.

I'm sure you know this, but that is very unhealthy for you! Yes, eating a small amount will help you lose weight, but in the long run, it will not. I ate about 600 calories a day for 6 months and lost about 35 pounds. It completely ruined my metabolism! Now, I eat about 1,000 calories a day, which is still very low, but I have gained all my weight back, and cannot lose a pound. So even if you don't care if the way in which you lose weight is healthy or not, please know that starving yourself will ruin your weight loss attempts in the long run...... I'm not in the same situation as you, but it seems like the small amount that you're eating has been affecting your mood as well. When I was eating only 600 calories a day, I was always in a horrible mood. I got frustrated with myself and with others so easily that it drove me crazy. Add into that no sleep and you have a horrible situation. No sleep alone can make someone lose their mind! I had insomnia for a few months, and I thought I was going to lose my mind! I got medicine to help me sleep, and it made me feel much better. I understand you have a young child, so the situation is much different for you, but everyone NEEDS sleep. My doctor told me that the brain begins to fall apart once it has been starved of REM sleep for over 48 hours. Sleep is underrated! Please try to get some sleep and please start eating more calories! Also, I've found that it was hard for me to sleep when I only ate 600 calories a day. Sorry for rambling on and on, but please try to get some sleep and eat more calories! It will help your health, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
