"Different kinds of thoughts release different types of emotions and feelings. It is these feelings that make us happy or sad . Our state of mind is not as dependent on external situations , but the kind of thoughts we create. For example , a good machine will always produce good products. It is only through the quality of their products that we will be able to tell if the machine is reliable or not . Similarly , feelings and actions are by-products of our thoughts . When generating healthy and peaceful thoughts , we have good and peaceful feelings that naturally reveal themselves in the actions we undertake. Our thoughts have an effect on our actions.
