Interesting And Somewhat Hypocritical

Did you know...?

There have been experiments conducted where people have conformed time and time again to the behavior of the majority even though it's against what they know or believe....?

It makes me laugh because in watching the people in my life or on the internet or out in public this behavior is evident. Because it's the majority opinion people go along with it even though it goes against who the really are.

I think it's interesting.

I'm not sure if I do the same thing... My honest opinion is that 95% of the time... I do what I want and usually that comes from my intuition tied to my understanding. It's kinda funny because when I look over some of the Youtube video's conducted for this type of experiment I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I would for sure be the black sheep, the rebel, the big mouth in the group of conformists... just who I am and I make no apologizes for it.

Your conscience can thank me later for forging the way ....

What you're describing sounds like herd (or mob) mentality - when people are influenced by others to take (or not take) certain actions.
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

You deserve a cheer, so many people sorrt of drift through life doing just what you said. They fall in line and do whatever everyone else does with no individual thought behind it, kinda sad. I am like you, I don't care a flip what people think about how I live my life, I do what I like not what they would like me to do.
Dance to the music in your heart.
Besides and I don't know who said this but I like it, "Well behaved women rarely make history"

The only problem is when nonconformity become the norm and everyone is doing the same thing because it rebels.
