I am not difficult to know. No, no I'm not. But it will be on my terms. You don't get to choose. I do. I am my own to give after all. & if I do, if I open my heart then you'll get everything I have to give you... But people are greedy. They want it all... You'll want it all... They always do.

I want to kiss her. I want to touch my lips to hers & run the very tip of my tongue along that cupid bow... & nibble. I want to nibble on her. I want to entwine skin to skin, tingling... I want her back to arch & her legs to tremble as she calls my name...

He says I am "closed off". That even after all this time, fifteen years, that there are parts of me, big parts that he does not know... I smiled to myself because this is true. Because it is who I am... Who am I?
Just a girl, a girl like any other. Unsure & grasping for purchase. But a good actress. I am... I am a good actress!

& the other? He said he knew the moment I wrote his name on my skin. That was it. That, was it. That was the moment.

Little bits of him are better than nothing at all... Because everyone is in awe of something. No matter how remarkable you may think them. Everyone is on their knees for that one thing, begging...

A beautifully written story about fear and love. I say that love is stronger, but it sometimes takes a long time to win over. This is unfortunate because our lives are short, and understanding often comes too late.
