"Everyone is on their knees for that one thing, begging..."
That's amazing. I have known that, but it was never put like that before.
I'm on my knees now.... (Not for you or what you think...).

    Captivating, original, publish-worthy.
You give yourself on your terms but I would request another poem :0)

" Because everyone is in awe of something. No matter how remarkable you may think them. Everyone is on their knees for that one thing, begging.."

I'm on the greedy side! I want it all; and more than once!!!

    Love this piece!

A beautifully written story about fear and love. I say that love is stronger, but it sometimes takes a long time to win over. This is unfortunate because our lives are short, and understanding often comes too late.

Don't lean to the negative accomplice. Come back to the bright side if the street. :)

But I do walk on the bright side of the street! And I peer into the darkness on the other side.

Or is it that I live in the darkness, always gazing at the light?

Never mind... this story is not about me.

You may do some light thinking on a Tuesday. But Friday night- Monday we deserve a break from such things. :)

Like they say, it takes two to Tango, and these thoughts, which are quire well thought out and legitimate, work both ways...

I want it all. Eventually. And I'm very patient. I can wait, even at te risk of not getting it all. :)
