I Should Come With A Warning Sign...

Yes, I am feisty.
There is absolutely no doubt about it.
I am playful, like to joke, tease, be sarcastic, etc. I am sassy.
I do not like to be serious, take myself seriously...I would much rather be lighthearted, good humored and have fun.
I am never intending it to hurt others or insult them, but I guess some people can occasionally take it that way.

For example, I had one person tell me I have "trenchant wit."

I can't argue with that. I do, sometimes. But it is almost always in good, innocent fun. But it also means that I don't just easily take crap from people, I can bite back. I don't let people walk all over me either.

I love that I am feisty. I love that character trait in myself and wouldn't change it for anything.

**ACCORDING TO THE DICTIONARY:

FEISTY - full of animation, energy, or courage; spirited; spunky; plucky: lively, resilient, and self-reliant

Feisty is fine if it's coupled with fun, but it iftens gets confused initially with arrogance. My wife's bff battles with this distinction often

Really? I have never had anyone tell me I am arrogant or close to it. Most people who know me, even a little, know I am always joking around and playful.

I think if anyone does think that, it is because they just don't know me well enough orrr our personalities are drastically different as far as our sense of humor.

I found when she initially meets, she overwhelms the discussion with her wit and humor, to impress and it being Trenchant, she is perceived as threatening

Hmm...I don't think I do that...but short of it being a serious topic/conversation, I just don't think things too seriously. I like laughing and making others laugh, but do not think I go about it as a way to impress anyone.

Can you give me some examples of things she has said?

It's the banter...but it heads towards "guys find me attractive becos of the way I dress" being said in jest whilst a nice pair of legs become more visible

****** off the other women...but not me *wink*

Lol!!

I am NOTHING like that.
What she is doing is bragging about herself and trying to make herself look good to others, even if it ****** off the women.

I wouldn't even find that feisty or humorous. More as she is full of herself. There is quite the difference.

Poor example I admit but these are the ones that stick in my memory

Well, don't judge us all by this chick. Jeeze, she gives true feisty women a bad rap, apparently....at least to you!

Yes she does, I'm now left wondering what a true feisty woman does differently

Not act like they are God's gift to men, for starters. You can be feisty without being full of yourself.
