I enjoyed reading this. My mother was a Filipino and many of these remind me of her. Especially the big spoon and fork and last supper wall hanging. I lost her to cancer back in 1990 and I miss her but this brought a smile to my face. Thank you!

    haha. i'm not but:

u basically own all rights to knowing anything about Manny Pacquiao

u say "oh oh" & "oh se gey" a lot

u cant water the plants when pregnant for fear of killing them (and about 1,000 other superstitions!)

when you tell someone "dont worry, its vegetarian"...it usually still has chicken or fish in it!

u buy roast lechun for any and every holiday or gathering...all stretched out on the table

u cook the 2 smelliest foods: that stinky fried fish & the pig intestine dish (yuck!)

ive got more. but thats all for now!

Also, you're a pure-blooded Filipino if you tend to check other people's grammar and you take a bath every time you get outside your house.

Haha. Majority of it is so true dito but not all of it because of the different religions in Iligan city (muslims, born agains, mormons, jehovah's witness and even the lumads who believe in different dieties).
