I Am Finding Demetrie
You know. I've had this conversation earlier in the week about myself, but I realize I have a really hard time seeing the good in myself.
Even with this job search I'm going through, the jobs I'm applying for, I know I'd do a great job at, but I still sell myself short.
I have accomplished a lot in my career already at the ripe age of 28. I got full time directly out of college, and I was promoted to assistant manager and then to management. I've had 6 years of management experience by the time I was 28 years old. However, because I feel I was not a good manager, I feel that I do not have the skills to be a successful manager.
But guess what, I still earned skills. I still delegated. I still hit my sales commitment goals every YEAR, including last year, when there was a major recession in place. That is HUGE.
But I'm just hard on myself in that area of life. ANY area of life, I view myself in the negative.
How does one turn it around and begin to see the positivity they provide out into the world?
