What I Love About My Country...

I love that we're not over-populated, we can trust that the tap-water is good enough to drink, we have a welfare system that offers financial assistance to a lot of people, we can go to hospital and receive care without requiring medical insurance, we don't allow fire-arms to just anybody and our police don't have to carry guns, we can buy organic fruit and veges if we want and I love the choice of foods we can buy at the supermarket, the grass is green and the breeze is cool, our young people have the opportunity to attend university if they want to and have access to student loans...

What I don't like...

our crime rate is high, people become dependent on benefits, income tax is too high, the welfare system has created solo parents and broken up families because it will pay money to single people with kids but penalises couples who stay together because both incomes together are deemed too high to receive financial assistance...

I love our country and am proud if it. I know that New Zealanders have done some amazing things, we have a great helpful spirt and a great drinking culture. I hope as a young person that we can improve on it more

i want to go in new zealand!!!

I agree.... Things are great in new zealand.. but there are just some downsides.. but not enough to ruin it!
