I Am Frustrated!

I wrote this long story earlier today (this morning).  It was a vent type thing.  I was so so angry at my guy.  I was impressed with myself actually for venting so much and getting a lot of it down.

Well, his friends came over (mind you, I was trying to get this story posted before I went to work) with their 18 month old , who by the way is an adorable little guy.  Anyway, he runs over and closes my laptop on me, it goes on "Standby", and I have to go to work.  Well, I get on a few minutes ago, and my story comes on.  I try to submit it and it says I have to log in to do this.  I figured that, but now I think I've lost my story.  I'm not in the same frame of mind as I was this morning, so I see no point in trying to rewrite it now.

There will come a time, though.  Sooner as opposed to later, I'm sure.

I thought that's what I should have done when I was looking for my story. Good idea! Think I'll start doing that, too. Thanks! Oh! By the way, I did find my story. So all was not lost. I'm still taking your advice, though. :)

yea - i've had this happen too, where i got finished writing a long story and it disappeared on me. I now write the long ones in word first and then cut and paste into EP
