I Am Ftm

No Support

I am ftm and ive been knowing this since age 5 and i havent gotten any support from my family and all i have right now is couseling    ahhhh!  I really cant wait to start T- hormones. Any advice?

    Try looking up some places to go, some doctors that specialize in gender issues. That's what I did. I have to travel almost 3 hours to see my therapist. But it's worth it, I go once every few weeks. Therapy helped me realize the steps I needed to take in order to get to where I wanted to be. Try looking up GLBT organizations in and around where you live. And find new friends who will support you, even if you find them on these chat forums or on the youtube videos of guys transitioning and documenting it on there. Just stay positive, you will find the help you need. It's out there, I proimse.

    Is there a transition clinic in the nearest city? A GP should refer you. Best wishes and good health.
