If It's Not Funny On Tv . . .

I don't want to waste my time watching it.  Well, there are some things that are not funny I'll watch but by and large - I want to laugh and do not want to hear all of the trouble and turmoil in the world.  I suppose I'm putting my head in the sand?

Norman Cousins got well by watching funny movies in the 60's or 70's.  So, I will take it from there and keep as well as I can by watching things that make me laugh.

Yes, he was a genius/ruler type and did many things. He had a great imagination and must have had a surplus of energy to do all the things he did (some of em not so nice).

Ya got me curious (again) and wow, there is a lot of reading to do about that guy! Even just reading (as far as I got) in the wikipedia site, it seemed he lead more than one life!

Yes, get all the laughs you can - they are so healing! I think I'll read tonight! Am reading about L. Ron Hubbard - wotta guy! Whew.

Sounds reasonable, I am going to follow your advice

Well, they say ugly things too sometimes - but in a funny way so we can handle the lessons we need to learn from them? LOL

I loved the mischievious way he smiles ;-) His puppets are rather ugly though :-/

Jeff is super great! What a talented guy! I didn't get to see it - wanted to.

We watched Jeff Dunham on the comedy channel last night!

Good for you! My sister's husband watches the news 24/7 if you let him. Tonight I put the comedy channel on and Jeff Foxworthy was there - I love stuff like that. Need all the laughs we can get! Good for you DawnRiser - laugh a lot. Mox

I didn't know about N. C. but believe it because our attitudes are so very important in every aspect of our lives.<br />
I try to do things that will bouy me up rather than bring me down. This has a lot to do with the kind of entertainment I choose, too.
