I Am Gaining Weight
Well, my gaining has slowed down a bit. However, I am still gaining - it was just easier during the holidays. I now weigh in at a solid 126 pounds. My belly is bigger than ever, it jiggles, and I love it! I've gone up a size in pants, and I'm wearing mediums in buttoned shirts (which are a little loose in the arms, but I can't pop buttons in public), but I'm still wearing smalls in t-shirts (it shows off my belly).
Since I'm 16(!) pounds heavier than when I started gaining, I feel much bigger. Every pound I put on feels amazing. I am literally getting rounder. I'm having trouble fitting into tight spaces that I had no trouble fitting into a few months ago. I feel powerful. (There should be a new phrase - instead of "pleasantly plump", it should be "powerfully plump"!) I am even starting to get a bit of a double chin!
I have developed a love for cookies and pie a la mode since I started gaining. I didn't really eat many sweets before, and now, I love them! Don't worry, I eat plenty of other foods, too - macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, burgers, and even fruits and vegetables (I just make sure I eat a lot of them, or I eat something fattening at my meal).
One thing I have learned is that too many people don't know what they're missing when they diet. Being chubby is wonderful - from the food, to the roundness, to the amount of space one takes up - it's all great.
