    I would guess that there was a lag between the time you fed your body and the time it started converting the food to calories in your body. It takes time to metabolize the energy, and a lot of it is used by the cells (glucose, etc.), and any excess gets stored as fat. You bombarded your body with a surge of calories, and your body started accumulating fat by the second or third day. On Saturday and Sunday, you were eating less, but your body was still storing calories.



    Also, muscle is more dense than fat, and the equivalent calories converted to muscle will weigh more than fat. I'm betting that when you exercised, you actually added muscle, which could help explain some of the additional two pounds on Saturday and Sunday.



    I love your story. You sound like a beautiful work in progress. And I'm glad that you are exercising. It's healthy and to maintain and build muscle, and it looks good in my opinion. I also think it helps to "hold the fat in place" and reduce sagging.

    It's normal, I didn't eat much the the other day but my belly got bigger by like 3 inches. Your body thinks its starving so it saves everything as fat I think
