At the moment of writing this,, I am sitting in a very busy airport lounge waiting to board a plane that will take me on the first leg of my journey home.
I've waited more than 30 years to go back to see what I used to call "home"
I'm excited but nervous all at once. I really don't know what to expect as I know so much has changed.
I have two travelling companions... My children. Though they are not little children anymore.
We support each other now. I seem to need to rely on them, for I know this journey will bring back so many memories for me.
I will be there to support them in what I believe will be quite a culture shock for them since they will experience for the first time a place I love dearly.
I hope they love where I came from.

I'm sure that they well love it in different ways than you but they well still love it!!

How did you know they will love it the way I do?

They do you know :)

Because I did the same!! My kids loved how much simpler things was! And how easy thing flowed back home!! Than our crazy busy life's back at our home!! They now go visit on their own when they need a break!!

The place we feel our heartbeat is beyond compare to any location in the universe. Your children will grasp the rich soil from their ancestors and replant seeds for future generations.
