My husband of twenty five years yesterday told me he no longer wants to be married to me. He s unhappy so needs to go. So he left... My heart is broken but I want him to be happy. Will this pain ever ever get better?

    Your pain will ease but you have to go trhough the emotions too, unfortunately! It would be nice to be able to fast forward the bad stuff but we can't. Know that we are thinking about you on your journey though and I am here if ever you want to talk.

    Jude,
    I am new to this group and it seems we have heartbreak after a long marriage in common.
    I can totally relate to your pain and at this point am just taking it 1 day at a time. Please know that you are not alone and from what I've been reading on EP, the pain does start to go away and it begins to be replaced with strength and independence as well as hope that life will go on and that we will once again be happy!
