I Am Going Through My First Deployment

Skype helps, but what really gets me through the day is knowing I have the man of my dreams coming back to me. I couldn't ask for anything more than a wonderful future with him and that's what I'm striving to achieve. This deployment will be hard, but not as hard as the good-bye was. I'm 17 and I have no friends with military boyfriends, so they don't understand. However, as long as I have my man, they don't need to.

    Yup i agree as long as you have your man then no one else matters... but im here if you every need to talk! Im currently 4 months into my first deployment !! Good luck with evetything <3
