St.David of Wales

St.David whos Welsh name is Dydd Gwyl Dewl is the patron saint of Wales.He is a comtemporary of St.Patrick(both were Welsh).It was first celebrated in the year 589.His father was Sant a nobelman from Ceredigion and his mothers name was Non Cynyr of Ciao.His usual area of preaching was a place called Glyn Rhosyn in Wales.He is famous for a qoute "Dos i Rufain unwaith ac i Fynyw ddwywaith!" Go to Rome once go to Momouth twice!".If i have that wrong someone who speakWelsh tell me,lol!Roman Catholics celebrate it on Feb.28.
