Heaven and Hell Tour Revisited

I will be going to Albany NY to see Black Sabbath. Ronnie James Dio will be singing for them. I seen the Heaven and Hell Tour back in the early 80's at Madison Square Garden. I have heard the show has been great since they started the tour a few months ago. This show will be like stepping back in time.

Well, the show was awesome Monday night. I was expecting more people but it was still good. They played mostly everything from the Heaven and Hell album and the Mob Rules.  They also played a few new songs. Dio's voice sounded really good. Machine Head and Megadeth were the warm-up bands. Megadeth kicked ***. Mustaine was great. He still looks the same as when I seen him over 20 years ago. If you get a chance to see this show you won't be disappointed.

Eh i thought Ozzy was the lead singer, where was he? Couldn't come?

That's awesome. :) One of my favorite Sabbath tunes is "The Mob Rules", which, of course, is one that was recorded with Dio as the lead. I would LOVE to see the new tour. Hope you had a good time!!

that is cool - They were still pretty good with Dio. But my favorite concert by them is still when they had Ian Gillan doing lead vocals. Imagine a concert where Black Sabbath played classic Deep purple tunes. 'Smoke on the water' was never the same since....
