The 9th Lesson - Responsibility

The Ninth Lesson ---- Responsibility

I was first going to write from a career stand point, and following your bliss along the career path and choosing something you really love to do., but I changed my mind.  My career choice was borne of what I thought at the time would be the way to make a living. True, I probably am making more money than I ever would have following a career I love, but it’s not exactly a road to bliss. But a job of our dreams is no always particle or achievable. So we must find out bliss elsewhere. Now,   I am a certifiable feel good junkie; I overindulge in the pleasures in life. If it feels good, I am going to do it. But a purely hedonistic approach to life in the past has gotten me in trouble. It’s matter of balance. We have all responsibilities, either to school, job, creditors, children, spouse, etc etc. It’s an inescapable fact of life. For me, when I am taking care of my responsibilities, life goes by all that much smoother. I worry a little less, feel a little less weighted, and more able to enjoy my life.  Satisfy your responsibilities first, then follow your bliss wherever it may lead you.

I am not certain that I can follow the thrust of your thread but from what I can gather it appears that you are maturing and beginning to abandon the props to your life.
