A Thankful Heart

Lots of things go wrong in life or don't turn out how I would want but there is always something to be grateful for. Being alive for a start!!! Having the 5 senses, Family. friends, somewhere to live, clothes, health. When my house got wrecked in a fire a few months ago I was grateful for being alive and that my children were alive too. My daughter got burned in the fire and we had nothing apart from the clothes that we were wearing initially but I was grateful to be alive and to have a future and a hope.Being alive means that I can experience the good things as well as the bad. This year I have had to experience some of the worst things there is to experience in life but also some of the best too and what doesn't kill you can make you stronger. I am grateful to God, for all that I am and have comes from Him.

It's amazing how sometimes misfortune can help us grow stronger and closer to the ones we love. I truly hope your daughter was not burned too badly. Most things in this life we can replace, and we certainly can't take them with us in the end. But our family and loved ones are irreplaceable. Peace be with you my friend.
