Being There

I have been richly blessed by the presence and love of others during my times of greatest need. It meant the difference between life and death. I've had others believe in me when I had given up and didn't believe in myself. Now I want to do this for others. I know what it is to be suicidal, have PTSD, agoraphobia, and clinical depression. I was abused as a child and was afraid of my mom for 40 years. I have lost friends to death and I have suffered rejection. I can relate to a lot of kinds of pain. You do come out of it. I didn't always believe that, but my friends helped me hang on long enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I also understand the need for companionship and good conversation. I like board games and book clubs and support groups. I love cats. My husband has autism. If you think you'd like me, let me know. I am here to be a friend to others. I am a Christian but am open minded about religion. I grew up around many religions and none of us had a problem with each other. I am going to college on line for an English degree. I love English literature, Russian Literature and I love to write. I'm a poet and artist and I play piano. I like rock and roll and alternative rock. I wear a lot of black. Check me out.:)
