I Am Most Definitely An Intp
I love to solve problems, I thrive on it. Which works well for part of my job, the operations piece when we need to figure how to fix things that are not working right.
On the engineering side the fact that I am always looking for new ways to do things and don't really like to just follow the rules has made for some interesting conversations with the other other engineers - who just want to know the rules and are generally speaking ready to follow them.
I took a class and the guy who ran it was all excited that he had an actual INTP in his class, said we made up about 1% of the population (I recently read 3%), whatever the number he said he had never had one in any of his classes. Put me at may own table and everything LOL Funny part was I really did approach things differently than most of the other people ... I learned some people not only plan things in advance ... they even follow through on those plans most of the time.
My idea of planning is planning to go out for lunch than once we are in the car trying to figure out where we are going :)
For good or bad I am who I am, I don't do thinks just because folks say you should, I love to figure new stuff out, I love to figure out problems, I hate to do the same old stuff over and over!
