3741 miles between us...we met on FB too, but only as friends. Didn't fall in love until after we met face to face. Now we are engaged... there will be three weddings when the legal details are sorted ...one civil ceremony, one celebration in the US, one celebration in the UK. He just left a little over a week ago, an amazing three week visit. I am missing him terribly tonight. Five hour time difference means I'm left here thinking about him after he goes to sleep. I'm going to England in June....seems like an eternity but we have made it through longer stretches apart. And yes, although it hurts like hell sometimes, he is totally worth it. We make it work with total honesty. There is not an ounce of jealousy in our relationship. This relationship would not be working if we held anything back from one another. We may not always agree, but we compromise or listen each others' opinion at the very least. We respect each other as individuals; we are joined at the head and the heart, not at the hip.

Love someone at a distance when you have not get to spend enough time together (face to face hand in hand) is like looking through a closed up window.

I have so much guesses and thinking to do. I like to believe everything he says and believe in the limited things I know or think I know about him. But all this won't keep me from wondering about things.

But you know, we keep it up because this love satisfy us in some special ways.

Wow! You really love the guy even though he lives far miles away. I hope he also feels that way too. I hope you guys end up together.

I also have long distance relationship but unfortunately the guy has always doubt on me. He doesn't want me to talk or chat with other guys even if they are my friends. It is frustrating on my part not to communicate with my friends. I always tell him and reassures him that he is my only boyfriend but that doesn't keep him from doubting. I always talk or chat with him in the morning before he goes to work and also when he arrives home from work. What I just can't take or endure is that he is being overly jealous of others even with my work. I always explain to him that I need to work in order to help my family pay the bills and be able to help myself and I'm willing to sacrifice my work by the time we get married. I just hope that he will stop being overly jealous.
