Im a Long Distance Relationship

I'm in a lond distance relationship and it sucks like crazy! This is thardest thing ever. There is a two hour time distance and it might not seem like a lot but it really is. Its really really hard on me especially when I need some affection and he really can't give it to me. this sucks big time

I am starting a LDR and I feel like texting, calling and skyping her way too often. Fearful she'll find it annoying. I feel giddy that there is a girl who likes me in that way but longing when I know she's 450 km away and I start seeing more couples around me. . .
Constant contact, communication, and visits are key. But then again, I'm new to this.
Also if you could send me some advice on LDR, I would greatly appreciate it. Any and all input is needed ^^

At any age & location..this long distance relationship can work. It all comes down to having patience, love, understanding & care. When the right time comes along maybe its a good time to talk seriously of present & future. I met the father of my daughter online...see it did work..just have total dedication & faith

i am happy to know your story and u guys are together... bless you....
we just met thrice so far.. we had a good time...... we see each other n call everyday...... but we need each other very badly... we are working hard.... hope god is watching....
and yeah, i would like to know your story.. hope u can share.. <3

With no doubt..you're in love..breath & only know of sweet & truthful illusions & perfection. Though you feel immense love & can't live wout her..its difficult but explore more of your situation along with your heart. From afar there's no real difficulties than the real ones you might face. Try to see her more than phone calls. See, as I met him online..later with time I started seeing things I wouldn't see or like. You can never know anyone as you think. keep your feelings going but just see her more..talk more of present & future in person than on calls

i am on my way.... to have her close..... she is my life.. Thnxx <3

i truley feel as i know in what situation i am.. but i would say my girl is the best thing ever happen to my life and i miss her is true, but that makes me love her everyday and i will love her forever.. <3

Yeah I wish my fiance and I lived two hours apart I would walk there every day but he's eight hours away working and we don't even get weekends. I haven't seen him in a month. Start strong, its worth it :-)

I know how that goes, and I hope things work out for you...I really like to hear LD success stories.

I feel your pain.....

Stay strong,be faithful and communicate,my boyfriend and i have a 6 hr time difference,it super sucks!when hes waking up am having lunch, when hes going to bed,am waking up,sample that!but we make it work, coz we love each other deeply.

I wish it was 2 hours away, try 10, 000 miles ....he works in afghanistan ...I'm in the states .... But I am committed ... In month 7 of 12 until we meet for the 1st time .... Hang in there ...use whatever you have, facebook, email, phone, chat, skype, etc ....makes a big difference ....good luck ....

my bf and i got 6 hours differnt timing. and i always catch him so we ll still can communicate.so i ll always sleep late at night. he is afraican continent and im in asia. I miss to go there.i miss there because i miss him actually.

It's so hard but I've found that my best coping tools are my friends. They listen to me when I feel frustrated or missing him. He's in the Eastern time Zone and I'm in Mtn so we're two hours difference. I have to say goodnight early because he has to get up so bleeping early. What keeps me going is knowing that if we can get through this we'll appreciate one another when we finally get to be together again!

if ur feeling 2 hours distance is too long.. i guess u guyz can meet atleast on weekends... bt wd do u think abt my story ????
m from India... n my love is in Netherlands....???? we met once.. n planing to meet again soon.. n i have faith.... <3

Gosh I wished I only lived two hours away from mine. You best believe I would have already walked there. The only thing stopping me from getting to mine.... the ocean :/

But really it doesnt matter 2 hours or 2,000 miles still the pain is all the same.

Mine's a 2 hour difference too! I hate it! I know it's not much, but my sleep schedule revolves around him!

hahah that sounds exactly like my day only we don't video chat we just talk on the phone. The worst is when something happens and he can't call you until later! UGH it feels terrible!

Hi everyone, my name is Alex, I have been in an amazing LDR for a little over a year. I truly believe that he is THE ONE! lol and we have plans to move in together this spring! But anyways, being that this is my very first time experiencing an LDR, I decided to document the experience! and start a blog, where I will be pretty much posting about my experience, and hopefully sharing some of yours. So please, if this sounds like something you'd like to read, follow me on Tumblr, as I blog my way through our fights, our dates, our issues and everything LDR that could possibly happen to us!
I so feel your pain! I live 5 hours away from my guy. This is very new, only a couple of months now, but we finally got to meet this last weekend and now I miss him more than ever! I wait for him to get in touch and he does frequently throughout the day, but it seems very hard! Not sure how I feel about all of this, but we are giving it a shot!

be patient!! long distances require alot of patience, it's a challenge, I know. I'm in a long distance myself, and she's in Australia and I'm in California. We talk for hours every night, and I miss her so much, but I know once we get through the long distance part, we will be livin' the life!!!

Make the best of it, and good luck with everything!! It's a major reward once you're past the challenges!

So get a Web Cam, that does help the close contact. Play a game of who can out do the other to satisfy and make things fantastic when you get together. Things like Limo service to a resturant, a party, a trip to remember, for next time it is your turn.

Bummer. I know the feeling. Long distance relationships can be a bit stressful sometimes. Weird, I also live about 2 hours away from my boyfriend.
