15 Weeks On The Clock

Perhaps my story or experience is not as 'extreme' as some of the other ones in this group, but my fiance decided to join the National Guard to better secure our financial future. (He admitted that he "wasn't sure if he had the balls to do active duty," which is why he opted for Weekend Warrior instead).  He left for Basic/AIT on January 8, 2013 and I will not see him for the next 15+ weeks, permitting everything goes as planned.  As I've said, I know that this is not nearly as bad as those of you who are enduring years of your loved ones' deployments, but the feeling is still the same, is it not?  I miss my fiance terribly, even though it's only been a few days.  He was my very best friend and I spent every waking hour with him, knowing the day would come when he would be leaving for Basic.  And not only do I have to manage to get on without him for the time being, but our wedding date is set for June 22, so the majority of the planning will fall on my shoulders.  It is just a very difficult time for me, and I know it won't get any easier as we hit the second and third month, so I was hoping that you all could just help me along a little, perhaps having been there or somewhere similar yourselves...
