Here's My Story.

My name is Erin. I am in a relationship with the love of my life, Kevin, who is in the Army (82nd Airborne Division). We have only been together for a few months but I know this is the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with. I never imagined I could be in love with a soldier because I didn't think there was any way I would have the strengh to but God has helped me. Kevin was deployed almost 2 months ago to Afghanistan and it hasn't been easy for either of us, it has been the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. But it is starting to get a little easier. I treasure any email or letter I may get and simply pray these next 6 months fly by.

it takes strong women to love soldiers. i think that going through what we go through as army gf wives fiancees whatever makes us appreciate our relationships more. we cherish our moments and make them count for something. My fiancee deployed june 2009 he is coming home end of may early june of this year were counting days now. i tell my fiancee all the time baby your worth the wait cause he is im sure your men are too hope your men stay safe and return home safely to the women who love them.

thanks so much. yes, he is stationed at Fort Bragg. And thank God that is only about 3 hours away from me! when he gets back we'll be able to spend almost every weekend together.

I married my husband in May of last year and he deployed to Afghanistan that August. He is also in the 82nd, so your boyfriend must be stationed at Fort Bragg. I will be moving back there in a few months to get an apartment and ready for him to come home. <br />
I totally understand how difficult it's not easy for any of us! I'll be praying for you that God will give you the strength to get through this deployment, but also that he will show you how to move forward in your relationship together. Good luck girly! Feel free to talk to me anytime!!

great story Erin, Hope all will be ok for you=)
