I Am In a Wheelchair
Yeah I have a chronical mutation in my dok-7 gene that my parents didn't know I had until I was in the first grade and couldn't keep myself from falling in the 1st grade.
Being in this chair scares people though, the looks I get! Boy, I cannot tell you how many rude mothers I pass that pull their loving child away from me because they stopped to smile. "Careful Migal, she's retarded and will hurt you," yeah lady, I'm out to hurt your kid.
Maybe it's just me though, does thus happen to anyone else? Ignorant people who feel you're out to flatten their family? Like I said though, could be just me (I've been told I have an intimidating deminor). I just find it ridiculous that people see you and automatically assume that you're not "all there" or as countless mothers have said, "retarded."
Not true, I'm in all AP courses with 4.0 GPA, and used as an example by every teacher I've ever had, for the whole class because I make 100s. I wish I could tell these people that and end that stereotype.
Anyone else have similar experiences or thoughts about this?
