When I was three years old the doctor told my mom that I would never walk so  they order my wheelchair when I started school I saw people walking and I went home and asked my mom to teach me how to walk and she told me that my legs don't work like other peoples but that I could do anything that anyone else could so I told her to take to someone that could teach me to walk and it started from there I started out with a wheelchair and metel afo's on both legs but all that was kept my feet from turning in but I could not walk so their I was more PT finaly I was told that I mite ba able to walk someday but for now what I got is what I got I was so mad years went buy and it happend I got fitted with my first pair of kafo legbraces I went to PT and learn to walk with them I got better and better I was told not to get too happy because as I got older I would spend more and more time in my chair and now today I walk at home withmy braces and use my chair when I go out

you are an inspiration to me man i have braces that just sit in my room i use them in therapy but honestly i know they will never help to really grow the muscles in my legs back enough to just walk with them and crutches i use a walker with them now and i think i am going to start using there around the house thanks

Good for you for not quitting!

It seems you haven't had much positive encouragement with your difficulties. I say never say never and handle problems with good over bad.

Not sure how to reply. I'm one of the millions that takes walking for granted I guess. I wish you well and hope you can enjoy the times when you can walk with your braces and wish there was something I could do or say to remedy your situation.
