I Am In College

First Time In Almost 11 Years

I graduated HS back in 2001 and joined the military later that year, so college really wasn't an option. Before you say it was please realize that my job had constantly changing hours and the constant training along with my clearance made me a rare commodity at the workplace.

Anyhoo, I'm now in college starting over almost 3 years after leaving the military. With all the credits I've acquired through my military service I should be a junior, but since my credits are only counting towards electives, I'm pretty much starting over as a freshman. It's ok though, better late than never :)

    Thank you for your service. Well it was 33 yrs since I was in school. I must say I never had an interest in school. Today, I can say I love it!! If i can do it at 53, you can do it!!! Good luck....

    haha. I used to take 6 classes a semester, and one of my best friends was in the Army at the time. He kept telling me I didn't know what stress was. I came home that summer, and he goes, I'm not sure I'm gonna pass the 2 classes I'm taking. College is HARD. To which I replied, " No, ****, Sherlock! So, I now have your permission to have been stressed out?" He said yes, :P

      Thanks for commenting :) I'm thankful to have been able to serve. Having been in school a month now I can say that it's very challenging, lol. It's well worth it though :)

    ROFL, Algebra homework hehe... I hope you did manage it by now. I'm glad you are going for your higher education, as I said I hope this year brings in the best by God's grace.
