About 30k By the End of Next Year

I will have been in college for six years when I graduate next Spring (2008).  Thankfully, I only  used student loans the last three years, but that's still close to 27K in student loans.  I'm also getting married in Fall of 2008, so we may take out a loan to help pay for that (ick).  Then we want to get a house... oy, I hate money.

On the bright side, student loans are "good debt", they don't look nearly as bad as credit card debt (and if you have any of that, pay it off asap). Also, consider having a small wedding rather than going into debt for it. After all, its a one day celebration, that could affect you for years to come. Besides, you can always renew you vows when you have the money to have the huge celebration you want now, but can't really afford. Both debt and money grow, and its definitely the goal to have the money growing faster than the debt, so be careful!
