I Am In Grad School
So, I applied for grad school about a month ago, been wanting to since I obtained my bachelor's. This has always been a big deal to me, and my husband has been my biggest supporter. Anyhow, I still get some mail at my parents house, due to the fact that it's my "permanent" address. Apparently I have had a package sitting at my parents house for about a week from my college, and my dad had opened it (yes, that's fine. My dad and I are close, and I always tell him to open my mail if it looks important...). He failed to tell me that it was an ACCEPTANCE PACKET!!! Kind of a big deal! So I could have been celebrating a week ago!
I called my husband right after I found out, and he pretty much screamed in the phone. He's so proud of me. Shoot, I'M so proud of me. I've worked hard to get to where I'm at.
Now comes the hard part. Teaching full time, working a part time job (my husband and I live 1300 miles apart, so we rack up the frequent flyer miles on the credit cards. I'm anal about finances, hence the second job.), and attending grad school. I've come this far in everything I've pursued... I know I can do it!!
I'm pretty excited!!!!!!! Just needed to share!
