I Am In High School And It Is Not Somewhere I Really Want To Be

I have good feelings about high school and bad feelings as well.  I do well in my studies and have many friends that I wouldn't see otherwise.  I live out in a very sparsely populated area.  My school is a half hour bus trip from where I catch it.  I learn more on my own through independent reading, research and just life experience than I do there.  I am a free spirit and don't like having someone dictate my hours and thoughts.  It seems so far away graduation does.  Hurry up and get here so I can get on with life.  My time seems so much better spent somewhere else.  This summer has been a blast but I know it won't last.

    When I was 16 I left school.I needed more life experiences then I was getting in high school,I got my g.e.d. a year later went to college and now have an associates degree in Environmental Policy

    I couldn't wait to get out of HS. I had the credits, so I left a semester early.

    College is a million times better than high school. It will get better. I promise. College is an experience that is as good as you make it.
