Why Do I Have to Be the Second Choice?

He treats me well. I slept over at his house and we had a good time, not until I knew he already has a girlfriend. We text each other sweet things but the only thing I got is a friendship that can never be more than that.

He keeps everything as a secret when we're around everybody else. Why can't he just tell me what he wants from me. When I ask him things about what we really are, the only answer I always get is, we're good friends and that's it!

But, even though he treats me like his best friend, I still fall for our holding hands, his hugs, sweet acts like riding me home with his car, sweet talks and friendly kisses. I just can't stop this madness. I am definitely in love with someone who is already owned by someone else. Why can't he just be true and say that he loves me too? :(

If he does not consider you "deserving" of being his first choice, then he doesn't deserve you. You deserve to be someone's first choice. You should leave this character behind and move on to someone who deserves you, who will put you first, who will love you and only you. That is what you deserve.

Just because you are his "second choice" don't interpret that to mean that you are second rate. You are desirable enough for him to risk his relationship with his "first choice." I hope you will seek to be in a relationship where the guy doesn't need or desire a second girl friend.

because men is always polygamous and nothing is permanent and if i were you better to live it that way so you wont end up hurting yourself or giving yourselves and its too late to regrett when your on it already!

He probably does love you, sweetie, but just as a friend. Trust me, if it was more than that he would tell you instead of saying you're just friends. I know what you want from him, but he doesn't have that feeling for you. Trust me, this happens often in life. Try finding someone who feels the same way about you as you do about him. It's hard to do, but you can do it. I wish you the best.

it might be possible he loves you too, but dont think its a love. try to move away from him for just a day or 2 and see what he feels, will he contact you?, miss you someway?,.. if it doesnt happen, then it will be obvious he doesnt have that feeling for you.

  actually, it took him three months to reconnect with me!
  And now he's asking me to meet up with him next week and have a lunch. I honestly don't know what to do cause I'm really trying to forget him! But he said it's just hanging out! gaaar but he's showing signs to make me feel that he's also important. :

  ahh i see... if he is saying just to hang out, then dont go, say you are busy these days.... there is no point to hangout with a guy who doesnt love you and you are trying to forget. May be then he might say something, or you can ask him to hangout some other right time :)

  i did that and he contacted me continuously!
  however, i realized that he was just using me for his own pleasure :)
  the only thing i regret, is that it took me so long to realize that . :D
