I Am In Love With a Fictional Character

I Can't Help It. I Can't Move On.

I have always loved reading, and love many characters. However, there's only one character that has tuck with me. I've been obsessed with a fictional character for almost a decade. I thought it would fade with time, but I can't get over him. And, I've never felt the same way about a real person. It hurts when I think about him because I know he's not real. His name is Xanatos. From the Star Wars Jedi Apprentice series written pimarily by Jude Watson.

    Try writing about the character and maybe you'll feel closer to him. Perhaps obsessing over him is partially your own creative energy trying to express itself in some way. At any rate, writing about the character might be good therapy and help you deal with it. Don't worry, I'm nuts too. At least no one can accuse you of stalking him, lol!
