I Am In Love With My Best Friend
I am.
He loves me too but does not go to deep inside with it. He is a traveler and is just that, he cannot be different. So I love him as a friend, sometimes he is here sometimes he is away. He is in Peru most of the time, sometimes in different places in Europe. Its just a marvelous personality so I never want to change him to keep him with me. He does not want me to.
So we are just friends, close but free friends. But I am in love with him all the same. He tells me to be free and fall in love with another person if I want to. The only thing he asks me is to be honest about it when it happens. He tells me to not be afraid of that, and says he will accept it. Because he chooses to travel and be away, he also chooses to let me be a free person.
Right now though, I would not trade him for anyone, even when I do not see him for months. He has a lot of value for me, even when he is 'only' a friend.
The word friend is just a word. The meaning that goes with it, the heart, is what describes the truth.
