I'd Like to Say the End Is Near, But......

I'm only 36 and I'm sure these perimenopausal symptoms will go on for quite a few years yet. About 3-4 years ago, I went for blood tests because of pain in the side of my lower abdomen. The results came back, they didn't help diagnose the pain, but they told me I was in perimenopause. I thought nothing of it. Until the last two years or so. I've been having so many weird things going on, mood swings, night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, heavy flow, my bad cramps getting worse, did I say mood swings? Add to that the bursting ovarian cysts. I really didn't put 2 and 2 together until about 6 months ago. Yep, all those wonderful things can all be attibuted to the wonderful life experience called perimenopause. I just hope I get through it relatively fast. I'm ready for Aunt Flo to end her visits. She started to visit at a really young age (8) so I'm hoping she leaves me at an early age. Aunt Flo has been coming to visit for almost 30 years, isn't that enough?

My ovaries are giving me trouble too. It's strange. The pain is around a 6 sometime 7 but its there. I just had my Pelvic Exam and the doctor didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. My Doctor has been great. The anxiety is one of the most difficult symptoms to date. The doctor gave me something that helps me with that. Hang in there.
