guess it can be a good trait or a bad one, depending on who you're talking to. If your like that with everything , you're probably a pretty annoying person. I just don't like to see things done half-assed, I was brought up that way.When I was a child and Mom would give me a chore, she would always say: and if you can't do it right , don't bother! I've learned over the years that it does pay to do it the right way.

| Posted Dec 26th, 2008 at 8:24PM I agree the money helps, but for me it's more of a pride thing. I can remember making next to nothing and still giving it my all. Maybe I don't take enough pride in my house. But then that leads to another story. Thanks for your comment Chiquita. Just ask the people I have tried to train at work....I live by the quote 'If you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself'. Once I start something I have to finish it, no matter what! |

| Posted Dec 28th, 2008 at 7:11AM Well, Groovy, I think there are some things you just have to let go of, in the grand scheme... For instance, folding towels. I was always very particular about how the towels were folded, so of course, I was the one who folded them all the time. It dawned on my one day that it does not matter, they will fuction the same regardless and now I am perfectly happy whenever someone folds towels other than me, no matter how they sit on the shelf. Hugs, Hon. :) |
