Yeah.

Insanity is my middle name.

I guess that I have issues or something. I'm flunking outta college. I might get it together though. I think I can.
I've been dealing with my eating disorder, which is cool.

And i'm learning, that life OWES me nothing. That people I care about owe me nothing. I need to trust. And know that sometimes, things don't work out. And I gotta roll with it. Like a baller.

i spent six years at a junior college and never even got a associates degree. the moral of the story is, i am a dumb ***.

  Naw, you are not a dumbass! it takes time to figure out what it is that one wants to do. I'm right there, I am not motivated because I have nothing to look forward to, but once i find something that speaks to me, perhaps it will change. thanks for the comment copper!:)

Best of luck to you. I suffer from overeating problems, too, and am working on them, am making some progress. It's a matter of learning to take good care of ourselves, something which doesn't always come naturally to all of us.

  Thanks! I am really focusing on eating better and dealing with the bulimia aspect of my eating disorder, the overeating will hopefully decrease too.

I did terrible my first semester. I passed, but just barely. College is such a big adjustment. You're on your own. Unlike high school, college doesn't care whether you succeed. Well, at least not much.

My GPA went up with every semester that passed, and yes, I got my bachelor's degree in four years. Not sure this will work for you, but for me, it helped to get busy with other things. Working for the student newspaper, for example. It forced me to focus on what I liked and to start seeing a point to all this academia.

  Yeah, I hear that the first semester is usually the worst, I hope I can get it together in time, I guess it's a matter of dedication and being able to persevere despite my mental health issues >.<

Or take my mother, pregnant teen. No degree. Can pretty much get any job she wants as long as it doesn't require some sort of special license. But even that doesn't stop her. She can do like two years of memorization in 6 weeks and just test out of stuff. Ah, the beauty of genius.

  Yeah, I know what you mean. I used to have this thing, it was called "I can bullshit my way out of things" blah but then I got lazy :/ and now I don't have such powers -.-

Well, if it makes you feel any better, a lot of people flunk their first semester of college because they have trouble adjusting. One of my psychology professors explained that. He also flunked his first and then went on to get his PHD.
