In Washington, DC, I became fascinated with an elevator in an acquaintance's building. I loved how she'd show the date with the month abbreviation on her LCD display. So whenever I'd visit and the month abbrv. was one I loved, I'd shoot video with my PDA. I wanted these videos for my website which was about related subjects... I had to QC every video to make sure I'm not saying something in the background, breathing heavy or other things I wouldn't want to re-publish... In QCing these videos (QC means "quality control" :-D), I found bizarre ****. One of the first videos had a voice saying what sounded like the word "broken". Another voice had what sounded like saying an old fashioned female name. All-in-all, about 4 of my recordings had such wierdities (all the earliest ones made with a very high percentage of each having EVP). I decided later to do experiments in my own building. I tried to contact missed beloved now dead humans by EVP in my own building's elevator. None of those experiments found anything. So the question is... if I can't hear voices on recordings when I desperately wish to find them, why am I finding them accidentally when not looking for them?
