I Am Interested In the Paranormal
I got two lady-friends, whose psychic-skill-advancements are somewhat stunted by their "intellectual rejection" of reincarnation. We live in Indonesia and originally share the same religion (the religion of the majority here).
I never have any memory of past life but I really want to, because I believe that some matters in my life are way too complicated to have been formed in this lifetime alone, and I want to have them resolved. Meanwhile T (who could “watch monitors” behind your head) and E (who reads tarot) have been connected to traces of their past lives.
The irony is that I left the religion after believing in reincarnation (despite never getting a chance to prove it, yet), while they decide to stick to that religion and “partially rejecting” the conception of reincarnation because of its incompatibility with what they want to spiritually believe. I have tried to help awaken their logico-spirituality on the matter (how sarcastic; a non-psychic trying to awaken their psychic-talented peers on it), but they have always refused to read/acknowledge the things that I’ve learned, and I respected their decision so I didn’t push anything.
Nowadays “T” can only feel people (roughly) and “E” tarot’s reading misses big-time. E can still personally-rationalize her tarot reading (which is definitely unapproved by her religion), but not for something as fundamental and existential as believing in reincarnation.
Am I correct to assume that this flip-flopping attitude of theirs is stunting the development of their psychic skills?
