So there's at least two of us. I'm the person who walks into an empty shop and doesn't get served, then has to wait until the three people who walked in after me have been served.
When I'm in a club and people are organising an outing, I'm the person who just can't be fitted into the car - if I'm one of four wanting to go, the car can only fit three. If I'm one of six, the (same) car can only fit five.
I read a novel recently about women of a certain age who all became invisible as a result of taking a particular combination of depression and menopause medication. It rang a bell, but this has been my issue since I was a child.

"I am an invisible man. No, I am not a spook like those who haunted Edgar Allan Poe; nor am I one of your Hollywood-movie ectoplasms. I am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids — and I might even be said to possess a mind. I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me." ~ Ralph Ellison

I see you
