I'm Irish-american, and I Love It

A personal story in the experience: I Am Irish-american
B oth of my grandmothers are 100% Irish. Their parents came from Ireland. I don't really know much about my mother's mother's parents, besides that they came to Boston, Mass. from Ireland. My father's mother's parents came to the New York City area in the 1930's.

I still have many relatives over in Ireland, I have never actually met them, but I have talked to them over the phone, and they have sent me gifts, one of them being a cloth doll which is suposed to be me, with redish-brown yarn for hair, very light blue eyes made of felt, and freckles.

My great uncle visits our family in Ireland quite regularly, one day I hope I too can meet my family over there.
